Meet the Woodland Hills Team Behind Halden Heating and Air Woodland Hills

We’re a small crew, and we like it that way. You won’t get a different face on every visit or a dispatcher who’s never touched a condenser. You’ll get the same handful of people who know Woodland Hills summers the hard way: 105 degrees in Warner Center, attic temperatures that’ll cook an egg, and AC systems that decided June was a fine time to quit. The people below are the ones who show up at your door. They’re background-checked, uniformed, and they carry a live arrival time you can track on your phone. Founded in 2004, we’ve been keeping this corner of the San Fernando Valley comfortable long enough to know every street, every microclimate, and every shortcut between Woodland Hills and Calabasas.

Our People

Andre Fuller, Owner

Andre founded Halden Heating and Air Woodland Hills in 2004, and he still takes service calls when the schedule gets tight. He’s the one who set the rules that haven’t changed since day one: written price before any work starts, written guarantee on every repair, and a free second visit if something fails. Ask him about triple-digit Valley heat and he’ll tell you the same thing he tells every customer: an AC breakdown in August isn’t a scheduling problem, it’s a health problem. He handles the load calculations on replacement systems himself and keeps his techs trained on Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Goodman, Rheem, York, Daikin, Bryant, and American Standard equipment. When he’s not on a roof or in an attic, he’s probably at a Woodland Hills little league game pretending he didn’t just check his work phone.

Marcus D., Lead Service Technician

Marcus has been with the crew for eleven years, and he’s the one who gets the calls that stumped somebody else. His specialty is refrigerant diagnostics: finding slow leaks that other techs miss, then doing a proper refrigerant recharge (topping off the coolant your system needs to produce cold air) only after the leak is sealed. He’s EPA-certified and handles most major brand repairs without cracking a manual, though he’ll tell you the manual is still worth reading. Marcus lives in Canoga Park and has a running mental map of every aging condenser on the west side of the 101. His one complaint about the job: attic work in August, which he describes with a word we can’t print here, followed by a shrug and a “somebody’s got to do it.”

Lena R., Senior Installer

Lena runs our installation crew and has been with Halden since 2016. She’s the person who makes sure a new AC or furnace goes in clean: proper duct connections, correct refrigerant charge, sealed plenums, and a full system test before we call it done. She’s factory-trained on multiple brands and handles everything from split systems to package units with the same unhurried precision. Before HVAC, she did commercial sheet metal work, which is why her transitions and fittings look like they came off a showroom floor. Lena grew up in Reseda and swears the heat there is somehow meaner than the rest of the Valley. Ask her about it and she’ll give you a ten-minute meteorological theory while she’s brazing a lineset.

Tommy W., Service Coordinator

Tommy is the voice on the phone at 2 a.m. when your furnace quits on the coldest night of the year. Or at 3 p.m. on a Tuesday when you just want a straight answer about pricing. He’s been dispatching for the team for six years and knows the Woodland Hills service map well enough to give you a live arrival time you can actually trust, not a four-hour window. Tommy schedules every job, confirms every technician’s route, and makes sure the written price gets to you before any work starts. He’ll also be the one who follows up after the job to make sure the guarantee paperwork is in your hands. His human detail: he’s been known to answer the phone while walking his dog, and he will absolutely tell you to hold on while the dog investigates something important.

Nora P., Apprentice Technician

Nora is our newest crew member and the reason we’ll still have sharp techs in ten years. She’s been with the team for nearly two years, riding along with Marcus and Lena, running diagnostics under supervision, and learning the brand-specific quirks on the equipment we service. She’s already certified on basic refrigerant handling and electrical safety, and she’s working toward her full certification now. Nora grew up in Woodland Hills and remembers her own family’s AC going out during a heatwave when she was a kid, which is exactly why she wanted this job. Her job on every call is simple: watch, learn, hand tools, and ask the kind of questions that keep senior technicians honest.

One Standard, Every Job

The Relay Standard is what we run on, and it isn’t a poster on a wall. It’s the reason every single call at Halden Heating and Air Woodland Hills includes a written price before any work begins, no exceptions and no surprises at the door. Every repair carries a written guarantee, and if that repair fails within the coverage window, we come back at no charge. That’s the Relay Visibility Guarantee in practice: you see the price, you see the tech, you see exactly where they are before they arrive. Andre Fuller set that standard in 2004, and every name above enforces it on every job, whether it’s a capacitor swap in a Woodland Hills condo or a full furnace replacement in a Calabasas hillside house. The team members change, the trucks get newer, but the rule stays the same: written price, written guarantee, and a person on the phone at (559) 245-8195 whenever you need one.
